TEACHING

 

Piotr’s teaching experience comes largely from affiliation with the University of Edinburgh where between 2011 and 2016 he was a Tutor, contributing to the Master of Architecture design studio and undergraduate courses in Architectural Theory, Art and Design, and Architectural History through Drawing. While at Edinburgh Piotr develop a series of authorial workshops for the History of Art Master’s programme, focusing on providing students from non-design background with basic knowledge and skills in representation techniques.

 

Over the years Piotr has also been invited to contribute to numerous workshops, charettes and educational ventures within and outside of academia. In 2018 he was an invited lecturer and instructor at a design workshop of the Congress of Polish Association of Architecture Students (OSSA) in Łódź. The same year he was a tutor at workshops for postgraduate students of the Conservation programme at Carlton University Ottawa during their field-work in Warsaw. He was among representatives of the University at the Edinburgh Science Festival, and together with Jane McArthur he delivered a presentation on use of photography and drawing in exhibition design at the Stills Gallery in Edinburgh.
